Aimer Gutierrez-Diaz

Aimer Gutierrez-Diaz is currently rotating in different labs of the BMS program in Michigan State University. Aimer has graduated from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in September 2018 with a Master of Science in Bioinformatics and with a Bachelor of Science in Biology on the same University in September 2015. Aimer’s last research was as a visiting scholar in Grotewold’s lab, focus on the computational identification of small RNAs acting in synergy with plant secondary metabolites to control primary metabolism.  Aimer is interested in Genetics & Genome Sciences program, especially in bioinformatic research developing or applying current software on transcriptomics, comparative genomics and phylogenomic analysis.
