Dimitri Joseph completed his Masters of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Stony Brook University in 2017. Since graduating he has worked as a Research Analyst at Stony Brook University Hospital in the Division of Gastroenterology. Dimitri's past work experience includes analyzing homologous recombination in S.Cerevisiae, consenting patients, collecting colorectal and pancreatic cancer specimens and analyzing bacteria and metabolites in stool samples collected from a Fecal Microbial Transplant clinical trial. He is currently a DO/PhD candidate that is interested in utilizing Bioinformatics towards a pharmacological goal and therefore will pursue his PhD with the Pharmacology and Toxicology program. He is completing rotations with Drs. George Mias, Bin Chen and A.J Robison.
