Veronica Albrecht

Veronica Albrecht graduated with her Master of Science in Biology from Eastern Washington University. Her master’s thesis research was on the prevalent gastrointestinal pathogen Helicobacter pylori and characterizing a novel small regulatory RNA located within the cytotoxin associated gene pathogenicity island. She is interested in microbial pathogenesis and the genes that aid the bacterial pathogens colonization, persistence, and damage of their human hosts. In her free time, she loves to play video and tabletop games and spending time with her two daughters.
